Student Success Center

Your go-to resource for writing polished papers, balancing your workload, and uncovering which study strategies work best for you.

The Student Success Center is located in the Jones Learning Center building. This program offers an array of support to all ÌÀ²»ÈÈÊÓƵ students. The mission of the Student Success Center is to provide the necessary tools to support students throughout their academic journey. The Student Success Center is also home to our TRIO Student Support Services program, as well as the Office of Disability Services.

Services

All services are free! The SSC provides support for all ÌÀ²»ÈÈÊÓƵ students including:

  • facilitated study groups
  • small group tutoring
  • drop-in writing and math labs
  • professionally-staffed writing labs
  • disability services
  • testing center for faculty-approved make-up exams

Drop-in Tutoring Schedule

No appointment is necessary to attend, and labs are in the JLC building!

Writing Labs

Monday – Thursday

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Friday

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Math Labs

Monday – Thursday

4:00pm – 6:00pm


TRIO Program

The SSC also serves as the host for TRIO Student Support Services, a project at ÌÀ²»ÈÈÊÓƵ that is 100% funded by the U.S. Department of Education, with an annual budget of $332,864.Ìý The goal is to increase college retention and graduation rates of it participants through enhanced services, such as tutoring, personal and career counseling, academic advising, skills coaching, and financial literacy.

Disability Services is located in the Student Success Center.
